Average Weight Loss

I am a little worried. I had my lap band surgery on 12/20/06 and in the first week I lost 14 pounds. This week I have not lost anything? Is that normal?

You will not loose much .. remember first weight is Water . then we start with the real stuff dont be discurage aveage loss is 1-3 pounds per week. I was banded on 12/6 and lost 26 pounds as of last week and no change as of yet.

Don't be worried - I was banded on 11/14 and have lost 23 lbs so far. That pretty much comes out to a little over 3 lbs a week.

I had my band installed in July and have lost about 25 pounds. I'm averaging about 1 pound a week. I'm not really trying very hard, so I'm happy with it.

I just had my two-week check up, and have lost 16 pounds so far. I'm sure this will slow now that I am eating mushy foods.
