tonya66 13 Posted January 4, 2007 I've not had my surgery yet, however, I just ordered a book "Eating well after weight loss surgery". It give great ideas for each stage, pre-op/post-op diets. The author is a lap band patient. I hope its worth the $15 I spent on it (bought it off Ebay). Hopefully someone will give you some answers. I haven't met with my dietician yet, so not sure exactly what to eat.
JDru 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Are you on mushies or liquids? I was just starting mushies when I was about 2 weeks out like you. I ate a lot of yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat, refried beans/black Beans with a bit of cheese, tuna, egg salad, canned chicken, creamy Soups, mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes, and smoothies. I also have to cookbook that Sunshine2 mentioned and it has some delicious recipes. Hope this helps! Good luck...
ReneBean 3 Posted January 4, 2007 tuna mixed as you normally like it and then run thru a food processor until all the lumps are gone. Chili cooked long enough so the Beans are nice and soft. - run it through the food processor to take out any big lumps. Refried Beans mixed with enchilada sauce - and queso if you have it. (it's a TX thing...) Pretty much anything you can run through a food processor and still like, go for it. :]

bbc0415 0 Posted January 7, 2007 :hungry: I'm going on my 4th week and I chew a lot of my foods without putting them threw the machine. Is that bad for me?
