No game 14,437 Posted July 13, 2013 Thank you for the invaluable insight into your experiences. Having been 60 pounds heavier and seeing my weight continue to rise as a result of my NEVER feeling full leads me to be very firm in my decision to have this procedure done before I gain the weight back and more as 80% of all dieters do. I do have high blood pressure and high cholesterol' date=' but it is borderline since I lost the weight. I would like to lose about 70 pounds at this point although the liquid diet is causing me to lose pre-op. This will allow me to avoid the daily underlying fear of becoming morbidly obese later in my life. I appreciate your sharing and value everyones SUPPORT here. 12 days seems so far away, but this is a dream come true for me and I believe for my children as well as I can be more active with them in the future.[/quote'] Thank you for taking my advice in the spirit that it was meant I understand about doing it as a parent too. I want to be there for my children when they grow up. And truly be there, not just living and breathing. I wish you luck and an easy recovery! And know that we will be here to answer any questions you might have after surgery. Laura
Cris31 1 Posted July 13, 2013 I appreciate everyones feedback! I totally agree with going through with this procedure when ur bmi is lower vs waiting until your weight goes up along with an increase in risk. Im 180 now but have gone upto 230 and I know I never want to go there again. That never feeling full feeling, I can totally relate.
