Everyone stalls at some point....especially after such a big loss. It's the process, just the way it goes. It's your body's way of playing catch up. It goes something like this....lose a bunch....stall....lose a bunch....stall....lose a bunch and so on throughout the entire process. Your lucky to have seen that big loss before hitting a stall. It will start up again. When your not seeing the #'s decrease on the scale check your measurements you will lose inches during this time. Don't freak out just stay on plan, and you will continue to lose. You can do this!!!!! 2 mrsplusamericajacksonville and judysbabies reacted to this
MIJourney 490 Posted July 12, 2013 They have you at 300 cals/day at 2 months out? I know all plans are different but it seems very low. I'm almost 2 months out and was just told this week to increase my 600-800/day to 900-1000/day. 3 TwinsMama, Mrs.RRn and Kristina J. reacted to this
MichiganChic 3,262 Posted July 12, 2013 In my simple terms, your body can only lose so fast. After periods of rapid weight loss, I've had periods of a couple weeks where the scale doesn't move, but my body seems to be shrinking and redistributing. Then the weight loss will start again. I have had months of slower loss, and months of more rapid loss. I can't really find an explanation for either, since I'm pretty consistently doing the same thing. The only I know for sure that consistency is the key. Just keep doing what you are supposed to be doing, and it will start again. 1 bailletchris reacted to this
indecision 863 Posted July 12, 2013 I would be willing to bet if you are only getting 300 calories a day you may want to work on getting that number up and your weight loss will start again. Your body has changed and oddly as it may sound you may not be getting enough in at this point. Just my thoughts on it though. 3 TwinsMama, SuNMooNStaRS816 and Paul11011 reacted to this
sarsar 824 Posted July 12, 2013 Sounds to me like you need to up those calories. 300 calories a day is not nearly enough! Increase your calories and I am sure that scale will be moving again in no time! 1 Paul11011 reacted to this
mrsplusamericajacksonville 21 Posted July 12, 2013 as fr as the 300 cal issue...i simply don't want anything to eat most of the time....and the 300 cal. estimate is VERY generous...most days its around 170....I just don't want to eat most days...
Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted July 12, 2013 At 300 calories your body is in starvation mode and has stopped any weight loss because it has to have something to survive on. At this rate you're becoming unhealthy. Trust me.. I've been there. I have very little appetite most of the time, but it's important that I make myself eat. Your health is the most important thing.. Way more than your weight. The weight will come off once you get back into a healthier eating routine.

cricketcree 10 Posted August 8, 2013 Your body is going through the stage of storing everything you eat, therefore your weight loss has stalled. I hear, almost everyone goes through this. My nutritionalist told me that when this happens, go online to resetmypouch.com and follow that diet and it should jump start the weight lose again!! Good luck
