Well, I guess we all kinda had a tough weekend in some ways. Feels good to have peeps, doesn't it?

Trying to get back in the groove today and it ain't easy but so far so good.

And OD, as to numbness. I agree with Swizzly. I had full hysto in 2000. I had this weird numb but painful spot in my right upper THIGH. Do you know it was numb and burned until I noticed a while after losing weight in 2011 that it was gone??!!!! Eleven years later. And 100 lbs later. Gone. Duh!!!!????

I had 2 C sections with my kids who are 29 and 32 and I still have numbness around the scar. I know the nerves were cut in my face so who knows if they will ever grow back. I really hate it though.

thanks for your kind words ladies, hubby also thought about the sickness bug that is going around 'cos the nausea doesn't usually last this long...sigh

Finished my fast day looking pretty good - cuppa Soups all the way as I couldn't face actually eating! No idea how many cals but under the 500 I would guess.

Cathy, your relaxing weekend sound lovely... hope MIL in ok! Don't stress too much over the same weight, I have the same pattern... seems like I will lose 1-3 lbs over say a week or two, then hold and see a lil bounce for 2 -3 weeks then a few more will go - repeat as necessary! As long as it is coming off we are winning, right! And thanks for the cwtch (hug) twas lush!

numbness is so weird - around my TT scar is the same, yet I have some sensation around my new belly button! Strange!

Everybody have a great day!

It's a rainy day here, too. Glad its rain instead of snow! Not looking forward to the snow.

Fast day went great yesterday. I ended with 550 calories.

We DID get snow today! Aaargh!

It's just cold enough, and they are (so far) gentle little flakes floating through the air. But I wore my warmup jacket ALL the way thru my weight class and only took it off once I got into spin.

And I took a quick peek at the scale and saw a new low weight! I'm not calling it yet, because I like to see it a few times in a row before calling it but man I *needed* to see that. If it sticks that will make -12lbs since mid-July. :)

Wow! Thank God we aren't in South Dakota. They are really suffering. Many ranchers there have lost over half of herds.

Congrats on the new low!!!! You are a dynamo!!

Good news! And damn not enough fat to Lipo? That's pretty cool:)

Perhaps I'll start wearing a corset on fast days!

Or a muzzle :P

Glad you are hanging in there.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
