Yes daisy sometimes I open up two windows But sometimes I just try and remember.. Today? I just scanned though' date=' I'm a little worn out from the vacation. Fasting today, wow after the foods I've indulged in its a bit hard but I need to do it. So as Georgia was saying I need to get to it with gusto and that's what I'm doing! Hope you all are doing well :)[/quote']

Glad you are back, LV!

Yes Georgia you are right there has been too much feasting going on when it is a non fast day. It is not the calories, I can keep them down, it is the carbs. I justify to myself that I can have the biscuit (cookie) as the calories are not too high when I would do myself more good and have the equivalent calories in Protein. It would keep me satisfied for longer too. I have slapped my hand and I am going to try harder. The holiday season will be here before we know it and I for one want to look and feel good then and also have a bit of wiggle room for the extra parties/meals/gatherings that occur.

I know, right? I find myself doing that also on the carbs. The little devils! Like you, if I can have some wiggle room I'll be a happier person.

OD - I do NOT open 2 windows. I think I stated before (when GT was upset that we missed her post) I just scan through the all the posts since I last was ON, and then my brain tries to remember what I've seen. And then I just write. With that being said, I openly apologize to anyone if I miss or forget to address you. Just happens, and my brain is happier doing that rather than opening 2 windows.

LV - Glad you are back!

Cathy - liver....yuckity yuck yuck yuck. But if YOU like it then by all means...you are right it's probably a GREAT source of lean protein! (but yuck...lol!)

Okay Coops - this is FOR YOU. I saw this a while back and totally love it.

Georgia - thank you thank you thank you. I NEED to be diligent about the holidays. LAST year I had steadily gained about 10lbs from April until the end of Oct. Then from Oct. 31 - Jan 1st, I put on another staggering +10lbs. It did NOT magically disappear when all the Cookies and fudge were gone. So I am bound and determined this year to either maintain in that time frame or freaking lose. I WILL NOT DO THIS AGAIN!

Yes missing Cheri, GT, SuperSweetums, and what about the "others" who have joined but don't ever post here? Come out of hiding y'all! ;)

As for me, couple of updates:

1. My new low weight is sticking, it's solid, it's real and I'm soooooo happy!

2. Fasted yesterday AND it looked like this: 539 calories INTAKE while I also did an hour of intense spin AND mowed the big a$$ lawn and fertilized the lawn so my calories burned were in the neighborhood of 1039...and I had to say NO to pizza. I was TIRED, and SORE and went to bed early after drinking some hot tea.

3. I did get my lab results from my blood draw (finally!) and the nurse ran through them so fast, I asked her to PLEASE send me a copy. Apparently the only issue or concern is my Iron is low. They wanted me to know that I'm NOT considered anemic, but that I might try more Iron rich food. Not telling me to supplement yet. Anyway, when I have the actual paper results I will share. But so far all looks good on that front.

Have a great Friday gals!

I'm with Cathy, I love liver! Calves' or chicken livers only tho. Yum.

I'm in the US, eating badly, suffering very bad jet lag this time, and generally feeling a bit unhinged. Going to a big supermarket yesterday overwhelmed me by the amount and variety of supershitty, blatantly crap food. Which depressed me, along with having too much sugar myself and nearly no sleep.

Hoping I don't gain a ton and/or totally melt down from sleep deprivation, chaos and noise of being surrounded by loads of (loved!!) relatives, and just sheer overload and exhaustion. Yikes.

I try to stay on the parameters of the grocery store where the fresh nonprocessed foods are.....No wonder so many of us got so fat........We've been subjected to processed sugary products......:( Hard to detox but can be done.......

Where is Globetrotter? I have her box of stuff she asked me to get but I don't have an address for her. I am excited to send off her care package.

I didn't do too badly today considering it's Saturday and I went to a food festival. I did have a choc. covered banana for lunch which is a lot of carbs but my only carbs of the day.

I'm anxious to get the weight off I gained while entertaining my brother. Plus I am sad that he's gone and now I want to eat out of depression but I'm managing to fight it off.

My bf whose name is Allen is going to be gone a lot next week so that will also help me stay on track.

i decided to quit calling him bf bc he's 62 almost 63 and that's a little old to be a boy.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
