LisaDM 194 Posted July 11, 2013 Sitting and waiting for my first nutritionist appt which is a group class. I am pretty excited oddly enough. It makes me feel like I am really on the road toward surgery. I am also excited to learn and to meet others in my position. Right after, I am heading to a bariatric support group. This morning I had an appt with my enterologist and scheduled my endoscopy. Productive day for me toward my sleeve! :-) 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Nuchnuch 120 Posted July 11, 2013 Make sure you pay real close attention! I don't think I did very well because I had to keep going back to my notebook to understand all the rules! Good Luck!! 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

I love support groups and I am so happy I had to go to those monthly NUT sessions. I learned so much during those.
LisaDM 194 Posted July 12, 2013 Well the group mutrition class was pretty much going over the information that I already got from the surgeon. I still have an individual session to schedule, so I am sure that will be even more helpful. The support group was great. There with a lot of post-op folk even one over 3 years out. They have a lot of knowledge and experience to share so that was great. I am required to go to two support groups, but I am going to try to go to more and continue to post op. It's nice to be able to be open about everything and share.
