Richard Foor 655 Posted July 11, 2013 My advice is to walk as much as possible because you need to get the excess gas out and walking is the best way. Also, it is important to know that for a lot of people the amount of nausea in the beginning is directly related to the amount of pain meds you need. If you need the pain meds by all means take them but make sure they are following them up with an ant nausea med like Zofran.
