Anyone have reviews on Dr. Bauman at Carolina Weight Management?

Greetings-

Dr. Bauman did my VSG on July 18 of this year. I chose him due to word of mouth and by the number of procedures he has performed. In my opinion, you go to the folks that do high number of procedures. There is a significant statistical correlation between frequency and positive outcomes. I would hands down recommend him to others. During my hospital stay, more than one staff member mentioned his perfectionism.

I was most impressed by his pain and nausea management, which proactively starts the day before surgery. The experience surpassed my expectations.

He gets dinged occasionally online for "bedside manner". I think that is not fair. He's a surgeon thus he is all about the surgery. He treats his staff and the hospital staff with kindness and respect and that says a lot. I like the guy more each time we visit.

So heck ya-he's your man. If I knew where you lived I drive you there myself! lol
