Getting sleeved on July 18th

I'm getting sleeved on July July 18th. I am getting excited and nervous at the same time. I have never been in the hospital so nervous how that will turn out.

I was nervous too. I'd never been in the hospital, and my first IV was when I got the endoscopy before approval. Once I got there on the morning of I accepted the "little something to relax" (Verced) and was glad I did. Everything went well. I think having the Verced helped me not totally freak out when they rolled me in the operating room and I was strapped down under the lights. It was surreal and interesting instead of terrifying.

You will be on the other side of it in no time. Deep breaths. Keep following your pre-op diet. I took comfort in knowing I'd followed the pre-op diet precisely and I'd done what I could to make the surgery as easy and as safe as possible. Congrats on almost making it there!

I have done everything my Dr asked me to before surgery. Hope everything goes well...
