msslechix 32 Posted July 10, 2013 I'm seven weeks out and doing ok. I never got full because I didn't have an appetite. Being Law enforcement, working outdoors, 8-16 hours a day, in 100+ weather... I'd rather push fluids than eat. So I was eating some watermelon and it went down so smoothly and so refreshing, I had too much. I got this God awful pain at the base of my tongue. It felt like my tongue was being cut off. Im no wuss when it comes to pain, but this was worst pain thus far. So of course I had to try it again lol. Yes like a knife sawing at the base of my tongue again. Has anyone else had this? Normal? Or is it a problem?

Richard Foor 655 Posted July 10, 2013 seems like everybody is a little different in how this works.
NoneYa 380 Posted July 10, 2013 Thats fascinating. I remember the Dr Furhman (author of Eat to live) sad that true hunger is not signaled in the stomach, it is felt in the throat.
