I think i hurt myself

I had my surgery on 6/18, on my right side where I have an incision I can feel a mass inside approx grape size. I did lift my toddler but at the time I had no choice. It doesn't hurt however there is some discomfort when standing up and having to use my stomach muscles. I feel as if I have to apply pressure to my right side when coughing or laughing etc. Anyone else with similar problem?
