viiki30 4 Posted July 8, 2013 Does keranique Shampoo help w Hair loss
notime 340 Posted July 8, 2013 No. Shampoos work externally, on the outside of the skin. The Hair loss is due to internal factors, the direct result of the surgery such as shock, anesthesia, etc. or nutritional deficiencies such as Protein, zinc, etc. Also, according to medical studies, Biotin does not reduce hair loss. TES 858 Posted July 8, 2013 I've been using Nioxin and I think it has either slowed down my Hair loss a little or has helped with regrowth. Seems a little better.
swimmom 124 Posted July 8, 2013 From my research so far, it seems that nothing really stops it - it will be what it will be. However, the good news is that you only lose hair for a few months, and then it will begin to go back to normal. I have decided that I am far more self-conscious of it than I need to be - my hair person didn't even notice until I started complaining about it. I figure that I will just live with it for now because there doesn't seem to be a miracle cure for it.

cathycnyrs 85 Posted September 10, 2013 I lost a lot of hair with a diet 3 years ago... Three years later still really thin on top. I was worried about bald spots, it was getting that thin. Knowing that this surgery is coming up I bought Biotin and have been taking 5000mcg daily and my hair is getting thick! Very thick... I keep reading that it doesn't work, but I disagree I have the proof. 2 Chittick24 and noamy4life reacted to this
Indigo1991 1,612 Posted September 19, 2013 Biotin certainly thickens the hair u have and helps with the re growth - but nothing stops the Hair loss if its going to happen. If there was something we could all take to prevent it, the ad men would have ads on every page of this site - and I would be at the front of the queue buying ;/)

Chittick24 52 Posted September 19, 2013 Heck ... Wear a wig until the regrowth comes in... It's worth it. But losing the hair does suck
