calebbridwell 0 Posted July 8, 2013 So, I had my surgery on June 26th, and since starting my preop diet a week before the surgery I have lost about 32 lbs. So far, that part has been great (though I know it will slow down.) However, there are a couple of things that have me scared. For example, the largest scar that was left from my surgery is acting strange. It bled a little this morning and afternoon, and has some really oily brown discharge coming from it. Not a lot, but it was there. I have just wiped it off throughout the day. Also, for the past few days there has been blood in my stools. A couple of days ago, there was hardly any, but today there was noticeably more. These two things have me worried, and I don't know if these are common. Thanks, Caleb
Purrplelover 48 Posted July 8, 2013 You need to call your doctor's office and tell them what is going on. It could be nothing or it could be important. That is what they are there for, and it is much better to be safe than sorry. None of that sounds right to me.

calebbridwell 0 Posted July 8, 2013 also, the more i look into it the more it seems the blood is from hemorrhoids. Have all their symptoms... so the only major problem left seems to be the oily brown/yellow discharge from the wound.
