Insurance requirements

My insurance states 6months. However when i went to the consultation they had found out it could be previous diets. So i was good to go. It's worth asking.

If I may ask how did you find out exactly what Anthem BCBS would accept for poof of previous attempts to lose weight. I have them as well and have been getting the run around when it comes to finding out exactly how long they want me to wait and what kind of documentation they need. Thanks in advance!

I have BCBSP PPO n i was able to see my family doc or the nutritionist and even my endocrinologist counted. My surgeons office said to wait like 28 days in between visits but when i spoke to the ins co they said that there was no time frame on my visits...meaning...i could see one this week n again next week.

My surgeons office had a form that my docs could fill out each visit.
