Tired_Old_Man 1 Posted January 6, 2007 Yep. Makes as much sense to me as the labels on cigarettes, alcohol. Perhaps next those who have to buy these clothes could be tracked and not allowed to eat anything of their own choosing because they are offensive to society and unable to kick their unhealthy habits. Hmm...:paranoidThe warning labels on cigarettes, alcohol and food are to stop you from doing something by warning you of the consequences. The warning labels on clothes tells you that it is already too late to do anything.:faint:
green 6 Posted January 6, 2007 Clothing for fat people are, of themselves, a warning against obesity; they don't need no stinkin' labels. I never realised before I got fat that I would be entering into the Land of Ugly Clothes. I think that one of the reasons that I got banded was so that I could wear natural fibres again. lmh011 0 Posted January 7, 2007 wow what a way to make bigger people feel worse!!!! An intervention in your clothing? Newsflash to clothing manufactuers... WE KNOW WE ARE FAT!!!!! we don't need a blazing tag in our already high waisted taper leg disgusting make you look 50 pounds heavier jeans that we are forced to buy from you... I am willing to bet they would start putting the tags in at like a size 12... I push for them to do this... yes... as long as they put tags in the 00's saying "Our jeans have concluded that your butt is nonexistant... doctors report that a nonexistant butt is a serious medical condition. Please consult a physican or the nearest McDonalds... included is a 10 dollar McDonalds Gift certificate...best used at one meal." Yeah I would be in way more support of that to... or maybe they can start making skinny girl jeans ugly and claiming they had to use too litle fabric to make them pretty... maybe that would cure the true epidemic
Wheetsin 714 Posted January 7, 2007 Yeah, like all they have to do is sew one of those damn sequins onto the tag. Isn't that warning enough?
deanna 1 Posted January 7, 2007 They should smack the label on Big Mac's, not my ass!
JLB 0 Posted January 7, 2007 I think it's a great idea but the labels should read: Warning: Although the size says 18 on this label - it's really a size 14. Buyer beware! Janice
