Intro: New to the Forum and Lapband

I received my lap-band in Tijuana Mexico with Dr. Ortiz on August 23 2006. Surgery went great, quick recovery. I was up walking around all over TJ the next day.

Didn't see any restriction or weight loss.

First fill: Nov. 7th Noticed some discomfort if I ate to fast. bread and softer things are what I had trouble with the most I think. However I never have that feeling of being full or satisfied.

So still NO significant weight loss.

I'm thinking about going back for another fill soon.

I'm also from Nashville and looking forward to getting back into shape to start this year out right.

Congrats on your lapband. Yes, I understand about the weight loss. Just be patient, it will come off. Good luck.

Welcome JSmith, I'm glad you found us. Sometimes it takes several fills to reach the sweet spot. I'll bet you feel more restriction when you get your next fill.
