JessicaAnn 564 Posted July 5, 2013 Considered purée??its the spreadable Swiss flavor. I'm on purée, and I figured it would be a nice snack that also has Protein.< /p>
SueJH 205 Posted July 5, 2013 Maybe check with your NUT. When I had my 2 week follow up, I went straight to soft solids with the expectation that I would need to chew until the food was basically a liquid consistency. I asked the NUT about puree and her response was that they use to do a puree stage, but found that most patients wouldn't follow it that closely and they have not had any negative results. So now they just go straight to the soft solids. I would think it would be fine because, as you said, it is a soft, spreadable cheese. Hope it helps!

I ate one and it went down great. Kinda mushed it around until it was liquidy.
jan8j 30 Posted July 5, 2013 I was thinking of getting some laughing cow too. Cottage cheese is on my list of OK foods, so I think that would be similar.
ChristineR 128 Posted July 5, 2013 That cheese is super soft! I also had the light mini babybel cheeses and I often eat the low fat sargento colby jack cheesesticks.
