chris54 106 Posted July 5, 2013 I am 9 months out (down 83lbs) and to my knowledge and based on my weight lost (which is slow but sure 2 lbs per week) I have never seen a stall or weight gain. The secret is simply and I will share this with you. ONLY weigh once a month (and I have since surgery) if you do this you will never know if you have stalled or not by the time you weigh your stall should be minimal or non exsist. Do your part keep up the Protein, increase Water, maintain low carb intake eat something every 3 hrs (small) to increase matablism and workout. This I believe has been successful for me oh my doctor concurs. Try it let me know what you think. Good luck to all 14 avanti, aliekat55, Fiddleman and 11 others reacted to this

joatsaint 2,814 Posted July 5, 2013 No, no, no! My scale would die of loneliness if I didn't stand on it at least twice a day. Embrace your inner scale. The scale is our friend. 5 avanti, RAAinNH, ShellBell25 and 2 others reacted to this

GBFree82 75 Posted July 5, 2013 Lol. I was thinking I would send the scale to work with my husband so I wouldn't stand on it all day!! 1 avanti reacted to this
aliekat55 157 Posted July 5, 2013 taking this to the logical extreme, why weight at all? one blogger says she only weights for doctor visits. that is my goal. I will have to take my .45 and blow a hole in each of my five scales though. I like the other recommendations and am already following most of them, getting ready for surgery. 1 nj8988 reacted to this
kimbernada 190 Posted July 6, 2013 Ha!! Yep, a person would be totally stall proof.
StefanieT 10 Posted July 6, 2013 I think this is great....I got so discouraged when I stalled for 2 weeks that I felt like giving up caring what I was eating, which is horrible. We have to be our best friend and always cheer ourselves on! 1 skinnygirl2b reacted to this
