miangr 11 Posted July 5, 2013 Okay I'm almost 3 wks out and after my 1 week checkup my doctor, who's more lenient , told me I could eat cottage cheese, oatmeal, puréed baby food including the meats. My question is can I try to eat a price of chicken considering I can handle puréed meat. As long as I chew very well?
JoiaRox 430 Posted July 5, 2013 During the puree stage, my doctor said that I can have anything that doesn't require chewing. So, his answer would be no. I do know that there are others on this thread whose doctors skip the pureed stage altogether, though, as long as patients chew, chew, chew!
Paul11011 372 Posted July 5, 2013 No, unless you blend it with Water into a puree.
Private Sleever 50 Posted July 5, 2013 During the purée stage, I was given the ok for chicken or turkey as long as i puréed it with a little fat free gravy. 1 tigerbelle reacted to this
piercedqt78 658 Posted July 5, 2013 I pureed mine with chicken broth, and made a really creamy chicken salad.< /p>
