PaNailGirl 44 Posted July 4, 2013 When I get up and try to get a shower or anything for that matter I get sweaty and lightheaded! Any thoughts? I'm 8 days post op! Low blood sugar maybe?
Dickens22 62 Posted July 4, 2013 Are you getting in your Water and Protein? My doc said to get up and walk around for 5-10 minutes every hour.
Vixynne 695 Posted July 4, 2013 It sure sounds like it--you might be a bit dehydrated, too. Give your doc a call if it persists!
makemyownluck 785 Posted July 4, 2013 are you on any bp meds? could be your bp is too low, if you are. otherwise, probably dehydration. call your doc!

I've been doing ok with the Water, but I think I've concentrated so hard on the Protein that I've neglected the Fluid (even though they are kinda one in the same right now) haha almost finished a whole water bottle and already feeling better! 1 Nesa reacted to this
ThinnerTiff 172 Posted July 4, 2013 your not the only one...im 9 months post op and have had the same problem...today which this isn't the only time...I was so dizzy and lightheaded to wear I couldn't even get out of bed, walk, nor even laying down would help it caused me to be short of breathe and nauseated. so I took my inhaler and layed down for a while. ive been to the drs for it...all my levels are in good shape and ive had a chest x ray and MRI of my head they cant find nothing, so they want to send me to a neurologist. its scary and I hate getting like this Idk what will happen but I try to relax and not move to fast and try not to bend and get plenty of fluids in. googd luck!
