mrztj 16 Posted March 24, 2014 It all depends on how your policy is written and what your employer will cover. But you will have to see a plastic surgeon they will have to get you approved for the skin procedure
tfarr 270 Posted March 25, 2014 @@amduc I am in the same boat! Same BMI and wishing I was fatter for once in my life! Or have co morbidities. I also feel " if it's meant to be" but still frustrated to be .02 away from approval. Were in this together! Keep your head up
jonfsgirl 1 Posted April 22, 2014 I am exactly 35.1 BMI with 2 comorbidities high BP and sleep apnea. I am scheduled to attend a seminar the 1st Monday in May. I was wondering the same thing about losing weight on the 6 month diet since I'm on the border line.

Pack on some weight before you go to the doctor for your first weigh in you are too close to not qualifying. Wear heavy or weighed down clothes...

Cookiesgotthis 50 Posted April 23, 2014 I was too close for comfort, Dr office told me not to lose weight, no preop diet, no two week diet, only the last two days. I did start the Protein preop. But I was so stressed because I knew the last weigh in was at the hospital day of surgery. I went in with my heaviest jeans and had my jacket on when I stepped on the scale. Whew I made it! The nurse was talking to me saying I didn't look heavy enough, to be having surgery, and that there had been people that weighed in under and sent home because they no longer qualified. tfarr 270 Posted April 23, 2014 @cookiesgotthis- when you were at the hospital for your surgery did they weigh you in a Johnny? I have my second weigh in tomorrow and I'm gonna have to add weight to my body somehow. Only like 5-7 lbs. sounded easy enough to put on in a month but it has been hard. I was thinking of fishing weights lol 1 Cookiesgotthis reacted to this
