DebDUtah 67 Posted July 3, 2013 Farina is not liquid and you are on a liquid diet. I think you know the answer. Isn't Farina very heavy in carbohydrates? This question should not be posed to us it should be asked of your Surgeon and Nutritionist/Dietician. For your sake I hope it is ok. 1 kw2walker reacted to this
LI Gemini NY 607 Posted July 3, 2013 Thinned-out cream of wheat is on my list for full liquids into mushy foods...idk did you feel any discomfort when you ate it? You should probably ask your nutritionist before you try something you're unsure of though. Just to be safe. 1 kw2walker reacted to this
kw2walker 211 Posted July 3, 2013 My NUT provided a listing of foods to have in preparation for the surgery. There was also information on the foods allowed through the various stages, liquids and puree then on to soft food/mushy foods. Everyone is different, but when in doubt check with your doctor or NUT.
