PGee 318 Posted July 3, 2013 PattyGee, what's the name of the book? I am very interested in reading it also. : ) The book is called "The BIG Book on the GASTRIC SLEEVE" by Alex Brecher (there is a link on here....it's available at Amazon in a download or hard copy (I'd recommend the download if you have a reader as the book is huge and a bit conspicuous LOL.....I'm rather private about the sleeve) Good luck to you all and again, welcome! PS there was also a thread yesterday with a bunch of books people recommended....you may want to look for it. 1 J33PGRL reacted to this
PGee 318 Posted July 3, 2013 Unfornately, I cannot do much exercise due to the arthritis in my knees. I just saw your note.....I am missing 1/2 my meniscus in my knees and have arthritis...and found Water fit classes at the gym--they work very well for me....if this is an option, you may want to try it...HTH! inarakatra 51 Posted July 3, 2013 I have two more 3 more dr. visits. I should be having my surgery the first or second week in Oct. It feels so close yet so far away.
Slim Lola Slim 30 Posted July 3, 2013 I'm in the same boat :-) I live in Sweden and they do it a little different here, so it's pretty frustrating trying to compare notes. I have my first info meeting Aug 21st. I will meet the Nut, Surgeon and whoever else, then at the same meeting have a one on one with the surgeon and Nut. Then by the powers that be, I should get my surgery date by the end of the meeting. I am pushing for the sleeve as my primary dr said they cover them now, so if the surgeon agrees it's right for me that's what it shall be,( otherwise I may have RNY. ) Either way I am so ready! Hopefully, I will have sleeve surgery in Sept/Oct and will be cool to have company on the journey with you all :-) 2 mel959 and elora77 reacted to this
