how about tomatoes if peeled?

I was wanting to try fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella with basil. If i skinned it it should be fine. I am able to eat different foods at 3 weeks post op but leary

I don't think tomatoes are allowed because the seeds can get stuck in your staple line....

Ask your Dr. if possible. If not, you might consider using the Kaiser Fremont Guidelines in Chapter 3.

For me, tomatoes were too acidic for several months post-op. But everyone is different!

I was able to do raw tomatoes @ 4 weeks (that and lettuce were the only raw veggies I was OK'd for till 3 months). I stuck to grape & cherry tomatoes and never had an issue. Best to check with your bariatric team though & follow their guidelines.
