I am one month post surgery and have an appointment for a bodywrap tomorrow. I was reading about it online and it says you can burn up to 1200 calories in a session. Since I don't consume this many calories a day do you still think it's okay to have my spa day and get my wrap??

I think burning 1200 calories in one session is probably bunk. From my research, what generally happens with body wraps is that you lose hydration. You may look/feel slightly slimmer for a couple of days, but it is not any sort of permanent loss, caloric or otherwise.

They're probably useful to temporarily slim a bit to fit in that special dress for an event, but I'm skeptical of any other benefit.

That said, if you decide to do this I'd love to hear about any results you might have!

I had a wrap done before my wedding day, and all it does is basically suck Water from you. You do look temporarily a few lbs lighter. It was nice for just the day of the wedding

BUT... It was kinda relaxing ;)

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
