ewhitt 112 Posted June 30, 2013 Ok, so I just thought of this, and I may be way off base. But for the last three days I have been on liquid diet, to shrink my liver. So- I have an achy pain in my left abdomen. At first I thought kidney, but now I wonder if it's the liver shrinking. Am I way off base here?

Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted June 30, 2013 A shrinking liver does not cause any pain......
kailie 238 Posted June 30, 2013 Could be hunger pains. You don't have a history of ulcers do you?

PGee 318 Posted July 1, 2013 What about your colon ? Diverticulosis generally doesn't have symptoms, but people can experience pain on the lower abdomen or other symptoms. Diverticulitis causes pain on your left abdomen.....as does irritable bowel syndrome.....but I'm no doctor......if this is chronic, you should contact your physician......good luck!
