Help on foods please I am doing the same as you for "food". I have eaten Jello also. I swish my Jello into liquid, for something different. My incisions don't hurt? They feel itchy & hot. I keep my heating pad on my tummy to help with gas. Hope this helps.

Guest Jason Cody Posted June 30, 2013 I just had the surgery on the 25th as well. If I can help let me know; we are probably going through a lot of the same things. Jason Cody here. Today my stitches on my stomach are really itchy. I have pain in my upper left arm still; but it seems to get better each day. Aside from that I do not have any pains at all. Today I took my mom out for lunch; my first lunch out in the new/real world; lol. We went to Ruby Tuesday's, and I had a bowel of Broccoli and cheese Soup. I think it was the best thing I may have ever tasted; or it could be the liquid diet talking lol. When I bend I too can feel the stomach cramp a bit so I tend to avoided bending at the waist. I do like my Jello; but I was able to start on cream Soups last night and that was so wonderful. The Protein whey shots (45g of Protein) are really great too. They taste really tangy but I feel like a whole new person after one of those bad boys! They are not too expensive you can get them at Walmart for 2.99 each or even GNC has them but for a little more; LOL. jcamdk@gmail.com; great to meet you on our new birthdays (right?); lol. Guest Jason Cody Posted June 30, 2013 My surgeon said because I did so well right after the surgery; that night; and the next day that I would be ok. However my surgeon is really cool he gave me his personal cell phone number and email so I check in with him every day. He has been really great; I called him before starting to eat creamy Soups and he asked me a ton of questions and said I was good to go; but at any point I felt any bulge or discomfort go right back to the "bland liqueds again" . I called him after lunch today; and he was so proud.

Ms_Corp 6 Posted June 30, 2013 My incisions tugged a little at first also. All part of the tissue healing. Good luck on the losers bench <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Thank you mines feel better today? Why do you call it the loser bench
cjjenkins 2 Posted July 1, 2013 My surgeon said a big no to using a heating pad on the incision sites. The upper arm area pain sounds like gas. When I walk around the block it always helps with that. Good luck ????

DebCat 18 Posted July 1, 2013 Hi Ms Corp, I had surgery on the 24th and the only thing I've added to my clear liquid diet that you aren't having is sugar-free popsicles. The cold seemed to hurt my stomach a bit at first, but today I didn't notice any discomfort when I ate one. I get to start the full liquid tomorrow and can't wait! Excited for an icky Protein shake even! I'm super compliant and "by the book" about what I'm ingesting. This cost me waaaay too much money to screw anything up. I go to my follow up appointment on Friday and plan on meeting with the nutritionist again as well. I have a list of items to ask about being on the Full Liquid 2 week phase. I can tell you what I get out of the appointment if you'd like. Do you move on to Full Liquid on Tuesday? Debbie 1 SheWins1 reacted to this

Keep me posted of how you're doing and any yummy recipes you have for this phase. Thanks & congrats!!! 1 Iamme reacted to this
