You can try biotin' date=' thickening Shampoo, get your Vitamins, get your protien etc. for some of us, it jsut happens, and is really unavoidable. The good news is that it doesn't all fall out, and that it grows back. I noticed mine thinning around month 3 so I cut it off and donated to locks of love before the fall out got so bad it was unusable. It started growing in again around month six. I keep it in a short pixie style, and really dig my new cut. The best thing to do is focus on your weight loss and not the hair loss, just think of it as a new you! My hair has been falling out too. Doc said not to panic, it would grow back.I'd be a happy bunny if I only the grey ones fell out, oh, and my leg hair can go too. :-)

Your hair falls out during the more rapid weight loss phase and the Hair loss tapers off as your weight loss slows down, so think of this as a positive thing, that is associated with weight loss. Enjoy the ride!

I've lost about 1/3 of my thickness- I'm 7.5 months out and I'm FINALLY starting to see if slowing down. My cousin lost from month 3-9. And now at 18 months post op is starting to have normal hair again .
