jensjoy28 351 Posted June 29, 2013 Hi...I'm coming up on 8 weeks since surgery and the day before yesterday I looked at my stomach and thought, "huh, that looks bloated"...weighed myself yesterday morning and went up by almost a pound....bloated feeling continues today, but the scale has returned most of that pound ...I had BM yesterday and this morning, so I wouldn't think that is it...is it possible (likely?) that it is premenstrual? trying to figure out how many days into my cycle I am, but not really sure what is happening in that department...last one started early but was abnormally long (like 10 or 11 days) Thoughts? mariamitani 405 Posted June 29, 2013 Allot of women on here including my self had a long period after surgery (10 days). Its from the hormone changes in the body. As for the bloating could very well be premenstrual. My periods have become more pronounced post op. Bloating weightgain mood swings a week before I get my period. Good luck

Good luck Thanks...appreciate the response...just went and walked a "color bomb" 5k in 90 degree heat and found that to be a dandy way to have the scale drop...lol.. down 2 pounds since this morning...still feel bloated, though :-)
