belladona 153 Posted June 29, 2013 You must walk, on my first day of surgery the nurses came in and woke us up every two hours to make us walk regardless what god awful time it was even in the middle of the night. push yourself to walk. Awe I feel bad for you it must hurt . I didnt have it bad at all but im limping around like a 90 year old I wound up with a blood clot in my leg so we all get something. I hope you feel better soon. 1 kp2010 reacted to this

Sherri297 81 Posted June 29, 2013 If you can get your hands on a heating pad or hot water bottle, and put it on your upper back.....it will help tons. Sorry your hurting so badly. 1 rebecca_dsu reacted to this
Veruca Salt 31 Posted June 29, 2013 I hate to say it but the only thing to work is walk walk walk. I would have someone pat me hard on the back (like burping a baby) I felt it helped. Also look into gas x strips. I did not use them but others swear of them.
******** 397 Posted June 30, 2013 Just walk. I was told gas x strips have no effect because it is a different kind of gas. I know it hurts but it goes away eventually. Mine was gone by day 4-5.
getlownurse 105 Posted June 30, 2013 It will be a million times better by tomorrow babe. Ask for some meds, keep up the walking, get some rest. Praying for you. 1 kp2010 reacted to this

I forgot the doctor fills you up with air to make more room and be able to maneuver. I'm crying over here, I'm laughing so hard. I thought you were about to launch into space or something. I hope you feel better soon, I'm so sorry for the stupid question.
