Please let us know in what state or country can a doctor face criminal charges for consensual sex? American Medical Association has a guideline for ethics. AMA encourages the usage but its not mandatory. Most oaths and codes are administrated by voluntary associations not regulatory agencies. Their are limits on serious disciplinary action. Do anyone knows Mexico Medical Association policies? Criminal charges is way extreme. I'm no expert and always open to being educated about things. A article or website would be needed.

I know that for psychology care (at least in the state of Arizona) it is. I don't quite care much about the intricacies of it, as it was really more of a side note that doesn't apply directly to this incident. Rather, I was just pointing out that it exists in some fields (if only regionally).
