determinedsleever70 27 Posted June 28, 2013 I was sleeved on May 29th 2013 and am having a few little issues when it comes to eating . Let me start by saying I had my surgery and was not made to do the psych eval or see a nutritionist , and I am having issues resulting in it. I get such cravings and to sit and smell my families dinner is torture , we have tried by me eating at a seperate time but the smell alone kills me . They made bacon and eggs Father's Day and I had to leave the house , I went to the park and sat in my car and cried . The more i sat there I came to the realization this is MY battle , it's unfair to them to have me make them feel guilty for the foods they eat . I am hoping the more time passes it will all get easier as I try to figure this all out on my own .
dork 114 Posted June 28, 2013 Normal. I just have my hubby at home and he's been pretty good though. Just keep thinking there is going to be a healthier you. I had mine the day after you did. You will be able to eat again...just very small portions.
skrubabilen 41 Posted June 29, 2013 I think we all struggle with that to some extent. I think it is a great break through for you to recognize this as your battle. It may help you to find a support group that is in person or maybe a therapist to help you talk through it and get stronger. You can do this!!
