wordygirl74 45 Posted June 28, 2013 I went in for my revision 6/10 but due to the amount of scar tissue I wasn't able to get my sleeve. That was a disappointing conversation let me tell you. In hindsight I do appreciate my surgeons caution but at the time I was sooo not happy. Today I got the call that I've been rescheduled for 8/29!! I am excited and ready to get this done!! He was able to remove the scar tissue when I had the band removed. He just wanted me to be all healed up before proceeding with the sleeve. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
girliegirl 49 Posted June 28, 2013 oh i see. i was banded too and had it removed a few years ago because of a slip, 2x. i have been considering the sleeve for over a year now. i have such a fear because of what happened with my band. how does one overcome that fear??? Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted June 28, 2013 Trust me.. You will feel totally different with the sleeve. After tons of research I knew I made a huge mistake going with the band over sleeve.
