TracyAnn15 22 Posted June 27, 2013 Well guys and gals, it's Thursday evening. I was sleeved on Monday . Whew, what a week. I spent three nights in the hospital. I was/am surprised it to that long for me to get up and running, (not literally). Not the norm, my nurses said they didn't recall anyone else staying that long. But at the same time were careful not to make me feel rushed. I had a tough time of it. A lot a pain, unable to get fluids down, nausea, nausea and more nausea. Had trouble tolerated the pain Meds but thanks to one of my amazing nurses that was quickly remedied, by a call to the dr. For an alternative . Still having gas issues, not sure how long that'll last, forgot to ask the doctor about that one. At this point the only way I can really get my fluids down is to take them while standing then just walk it off a little. I am tender but not in any real degree of pain. Except if I burp, YUCK I hate how that feels. Earlier in the week I found myself asking "oh no, what did I do to myself" but at this point I'm glad I went through with it. Looking forward to things about to come.
