cmathews77 10 Posted June 27, 2013 I am 9 days post-op and have done really well. The first 2 or 3 days after surgery, I didn't feel great, but the last week I pretty much feel normal (except for eating, of course). I have been out shopping for my daughter's birthday party the last few days and feel great. However, today I am so weak and light headed. I ate my usual Breakfast, have already had 40 grams of Protein and taken my Vitamins. I drink Water constantly so I know I'm not dehydrated. What could be causing the weakness and lightheadedness? Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted June 27, 2013 Maybe your body is getting used to the lack of calories compared to what it once consumed. Now that you 're a bit more active you're using the small amt of calories your getting in. It also takes A LONG time for the body to adjust to low carbs, less caffeine and the huge change we've made. Just a thought of course.. Not a dr
MizzouGirl 148 Posted June 27, 2013 If you take blood pressure meds, they could be causing it. I had the same thing about 2.5 weeks out and went to the emergency room. My nutrition and hydration were fine but my blood pressure was really low. The doctor told me to stop blood pressure meds and consult with primary. Good luck!
