JamiO 52 Posted June 27, 2013 I have always been one to go to sleep before 10 and wake up in the morning before 8. Now I get in bed at 10 and kay here for hours!!! Tonight it's been almost. 4 hours and I just can not fall asleep. And when I do finally fall asleep I wake up almost every hour. I am 15 days post op and all of this happened after surgery. Has anyone else gone through this? I just wanna sleep!!!!
twsport 45 Posted June 27, 2013 Take a zanax or a melatonin to help you sleep. If it keeps up I would talk to my doctor about prescribing you something to help. It could be the changes in your chemicals with less food and all.

leezel_777 2 Posted June 27, 2013 I am having this problem as well. I have been taking melatonin the past week 30 minutes before bed and I am noticing a difference. I'm still not sleeping like I did before surgery, but I feel like I'm getting rest. As you can tell by the timing of this post, I am up late today but overall I feel my sleep is getting better with the melatonin. Hope this helps and you get more sleep soon! Fabsfluff 15 Posted June 27, 2013 This is also my struggle! Either I stay up all night or fall asleep early and am up 3 hours later. It's extremely frustrating. Pre-sleeve I would have been eating until I felt full and sleepy again. I'm happy to have broken that horrible habit, but some rest would be a nice substitute.
