A blessing or a curse?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to figure out if this is a blessing or a curse--Before I got my band I thought I wouldn't be able to eat some of my favorite foods-like pizza or chinese food--but I have since learned that I can eat these foods(in much smaller quantities of course). I sometimes think it would be easier if I just couldn't eat them at all--temptation is a terrible thing:decision: Just something to ponder!

I was hoping that I wouldn't want or be able to eat those things anymore either, but that didn't happen. My nutritionist told me that those cravings for pizza, chinese food, etc. are all in your head not your belly so it's like fighting the beast. I wish there was no temptation but unfortunately that's not going to happen.

i had some chinese today. the chinese place by us has the best sweet and sour chicke. i tok 4 nugget pieces and cut off the breading, put a little of the sweet and sour and some of the inside of 2 crab rangoon. It was heaven.

i tried a slice and a 1/2 of pizza and i felt like crap so i will take that off my list.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
