my nutritionist says we are supposed to get at least 60 grams of Protein a day. maybe you could cut the calories and up the protein. might have to go back to just drinking Protein Shakes for a while. i sure hope this helps a little.

but IMO losing 20 lbs in 9 weeks is great :)

keep doing what you are doing

drinking, exercise et al

1,000 calories - "maybe" you are getting in too many calories at your stage in the game

do you have a NUT than can advice you???

if not, keep comi back and read the boards

we are not professional NUT's here but...........

some of us are nuttier than others :D

you will lose more weight!!!! :)

i promise - really you will

don't quit on your sleeve - and it won't quit on you

good luck

I lost 15 lbs in the first 2 weeks and then stalled, its very depressing. My nut suggested increasing my calories due to my workouts. I think I'm gonna do only shakes for a few days for a jump start!

That is a LOT of exercise for 1000 calories. Might need to up the calories by adding more Protein. You should definitely be up around 80g more than in the lower and midrange. Keep your carbs in the morning. What kind of working out?

Patience patience patience..it's the only way. Don't obsess to the point you get discouraged. If you get to obsessing then it's time to step back and relax a bit.

Just remember, we did not gain the weight over night it was a day by day, week by week, year by year process. All the more so now that we loose the weight slow and steady.

Don't give up, live it up!

Go to a petstore and look as a 20 bag of dog food, you have lost that much weight. Or go to the store and look at 4 of those 5 pound rolls of hamburger mean (the ones that looks like a giant tube of Breakfast sausage) those pounds are gone forever. Don't think of it as only, think of it as wow 20 pounds. Your weightloss will pick backup and you will love your sleeve again. (((hugs)))

For exercise, I walk at least 2 miles 5 days/week. 3 times a week I add hip hop abs, rocking body or WII games and this week I've started weight training x 2 days...

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
