Absolutely! I have been in awe of how much everyone changes. I don't think I will be able to really believe the changes unless I have documentation.

I am having my surgery on Wednesday, and I want to take a pic a week until I have lost all my weight. That's my plan, I just hope I can stick to it. Also, Good luck with your surgery.

I took a picture prior to my two week

pre-op. My surgery is next Monday and I will probably take another and then weekly after that!

Best of luck to everybody! Can't wait to see all the pictures! :)

I did not take any pictures specifically for that purpose. I have plenty of unflattering pictures to chose from. BUT what i did do was measure myself!

I took photos the other night.. Not for surgery but as before photos for the Insanity program.. And I sit and cried after I looked at them.. But then I wiped away the tears and said never again!!

Oh definitely! I'll be posting my highly unflattering before pics on my blog along with my measurements taken approximately 3 days pre-op, (before leaving for Mi Doctor Hospital in TJ). PLUS. I'll be vlogging the entire of my time spent there for the procedure as to not only capture every little detail in living memory for myself, but will be adding small vlog sized footage to my blog/youtube channel too so that I can help others get a feel for whats to come!

Can't wait to get it all behind me! :D

My husband takes the worst pictures........But yeah, I plan on having pictures taken, even if it takes him an hour or two until he gets it right LOL Since I'm not telling people about the procedure, I'm leary to ask anyone :D

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
