DonRodolfo 1,416 Posted June 22, 2013 Just found this on Facebook. Haven't tried it yet, but what do you think? Crust 1 (8 oz) package of full fat cream cheese, room temperature 2 eggs 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese Topping 1/2 cup pizza sauce 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese toppings - pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushrooms, peppers Garlic powder Preheat oven to 350. Lightly spay a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. With a handheld mixer, mix cream cheese, eggs, pepper, garlic powder and parmesan cheese until combined. Spread into baking dish. Bake for 12-15 minutes, our until golden brown. Allow crust to cool for 10 minutes. Spread pizza sauce on crust. Top with cheese and toppings. Sprinkle pizza with garlic powder. Bake 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted. For more healthy recipes, tips, motivation and fun, join us here: Weightloss With Us

Nellabella 10 Posted June 22, 2013 Wow Don, that seems like an awful lot of fat!? You could try or make, a thin buckwheat or quinoa base? And leaner meats on top like chicken, smoked turkey, tuna or lean ham. I don't think I could lose weight if I ate the pizza recipe above.

Molly3 495 Posted June 22, 2013 Crust: 1 cup Grated Raw Cauliflower or frozen 1/4 cup Egg Beaters or 1 large egg 3/4 cup-1 cup of grated cheese(I use mozz or a blend) the more the firmer the crust! 1/8 tsp garlic powder(I use more) - optional 1/4 tsp basil or Italian seasoning - optional Toppings: Whatever the heck YOU want...It's your pizza! Directions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray. Combine grated cauliflower, egg beaters, cheese, garlic powder and basil until mixed completely. Spoon mixture on prepared pan. Use the back of a spoon to thin out mixture and form a circle about the size of a dinner plate without the rim. The thinner the crust the less chance of it being soggy. Bake for 30 minutes. Carefully flip the pizza crust over by using a spatula to lift all edges of the crust off the parchment first. Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes until edges are really brown and crisp. Mine are usually burnt around the edges but it won't taste burnt. Let cool. Add Tomato sauce and cheese on top. Broil until cheese is melted about 5 to 10 minutes. If you are making several cauliflower pizza crusts like I usually do, you can wrap the pizza individually in foil tightly with the cheese and sauce already on top. Stick them in gallon size Ziploc bags. I usually can fit 2 or 3 pizza crusts in a Ziploc bag. When ready to eat, take it out of the freezer as you would a normal store bought frozen pizza. Bake for about 15 minutes at 425 degrees or until cheese has completely melted. I can usually get 4 to 5 pizzas from one head of cauliflower! Enjoy! Oh & Don......I make bread sticks out of these as well & dip in sauce!!! 3 melissa130, DonRodolfo and prayergirl reacted to this
Oliver's Mom 258 Posted June 22, 2013 Ohhhhhh, both of these sound delicious. I haven't had pizza in almost 2 years, because of a gluten sensitivity. I will def have to try both. I like veggie pizza, never been a meat on pizza girl. I'm adding the ingredients to my shopping list. Thanks guys. 1 Molly3 reacted to this

Escape_Pod 358 Posted June 22, 2013 I'm all about the cauliflower crust too - I steam frozen cauliflower in the microwave, then mix it with the egg, herbs, and cheese in a mini food processor. A tablespoon or so of ground flax seed helps is a nice addition - a bit of Protein, a bit of flavor, and helps the texture out a bit too. I don't usually flip mine, which means it's really fork food instead of hand food but that's not a bad thing.... 1 Molly3 reacted to this

shellsheck 11 Posted June 22, 2013 I actually made this last night for dinner. At first I didn't think there was enough to cover the bottom of the pan, but there was plenty. It was amazingly good!! I am 6 weeks post op and love pizza. I didn't have a hard time with it at all.
