To feel the restriction you should be eating Protein dense foods. Plain bread is typically not good for the sleeve so early out but I would imagine toasted it would compact pretty easy.so still not good...

Toast after three weeks? Wow. I was six months before I tried bread and a year out I still can't finish a piece of toast.

Amazing how different we all are. I don't know what this means for you. Is toast actually on your eating plan at this stage? If so, then I guess you have no need to worry as it is part of your plan. If not, why are you deviating from your eating plan?

Maybe just the soft scrambled eggs if you're cleared for it. My understanding is Protein 1st - then liquids at the beginning....

I had my surgery on June 3 also. I was hungry while on liquids but now that I'm on purée / soft foods its hard to eat 1/4 cup cottage cheese. I was told not to eat bread yet. I'm not supposed to have crackers until next month. Be careful, don't introduce foods to soon is what I was told. Good luck!

I was sleeved on May 1st. I am hungry a lot. I eat way more than I thought I'd be able to. My weight loss had been slooooooow going. I have only felt full twice since I've been sleeved. It seems that every individual is different and can tolerate foods at varying levels. Good luck on your journey :-)

I had my surgery on June 4th and we were told no bread, rice, Pasta for 4 months. No puree stage for me tho, from full liquids to regular food. However, in addition to breads, no salads, no raw vegetables and no fruits with seeds for at least 4 months. I want a salad!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
