shelly22 50 Posted June 21, 2013 Since my surgery on the 18th I can't sleep on my back unless I am propped up on 3 pillows. I feel like I can't breathe. So I must sleep on my side and in my sleep I end up turning over on my stomach which is very uncomfortable and I end up waking up. Has anyone else had this happen to them? prayergirl 55 Posted June 21, 2013 My first night home was miserable. I got less than an hour of sleep. I would start on my back and then automatically go to my side, which was not comfortable. The next night, I rolled up a pillow, put it by my side and then sort of rolled onto it (kinda like hugging a body pillow). I was half side, half stomach. I almost cried, it was such a relief to be comfortable and be able to get some sleep. From then on I was fine. Best of luck to you!
