O2BSkinny 247 Posted June 20, 2013 I had surgery on June 10th and I am wanting to do sit ups. I have lost 18lbs since the 10th and know that I am going to have a serious apron and want to start working at tightening up the skin early. I am now down to 242 lbs and I am ready to work . Is doing sit ups at this stage too early?

Is doing sit ups at this stage too early? Probably way too soon for crunches. Your abdominal wall needs to heal completely or you risk a hernia. I'm 7 months (today) and I still have a bit of tenderness if I do a lot of sit ups. Also know that sit ups aren't going to do a lot for the skin issue. 2 kryssaboo and ProudGrammy reacted to this

Cheer Mama 166 Posted June 20, 2013 I'm envious you feel so good! I was sleeved on the 7th and I can't even contemplate a crunch or a sit up. Heck I have a very hard time getting outta bed.
