Vontelle 4 Posted June 20, 2013 Hello, I was just scheduled for my EGD, it's 6/28 at 8:00AM. I have a freelance makeup artistry job scheduled for that same day starting at 2:00PM. I have to do make-up for a bridal party of 5, it'll take about three hours total. I am contracted to do the makeup so I can't back out of that commitment. However, I am reluctant to reschedule the procedure because the date may be pushed back over a month due to ongoing contract negotiations between BCBS and the hospital (the primary affiliation of my surgeon). GBFree82 75 Posted June 20, 2013 I just had mine and was fully awake and functioning within minutes of coming back to the hospital room. You can't drive afterwards though.
