prayergirl 55 Posted June 20, 2013 I had my first post-op visit with my surgeon last Thurs. That was one of my questions. He said I could start taking my regular Vitamins now. He did say that I can only swallow something the size of a plain m&m or smaller. So I have been cutting most of them in half and they need to be spaced a few minutes apart. Needless to say, it takes me 1/2 an hour to take all the pills! I would check with your surgeon because they are all different. If your colace is the same capusle that I am thinking of it should be safe to take it, but remember you are still early out and it may not "pop" inside your stomach in time for it to activate.
