vane86 39 Posted June 20, 2013 I will be getting my Ekg,Lab,and chest x ray this morning. I'm so nervous. My surgery will be this Friday. I would like to share a personal story. I feel very calm that my surgery will come out fine. My husband passed away 1 yr ago and for some reason I feel his presence besides me all the time. I know he won't let me down. And in God's power I will make it through. I'm just asking for a prayer to safe revovery. Thanks for the support.- Vanessa :-) :') 8 Vixynne, smjuroska, Dawnyellow and 5 others reacted to this

I knew he would be there and I would be all right. I had to go through some bumps in the road before surgery and I kept wondering if he was saying Dont do It but when I found my surgeon and he recommended the sleeve everything fell into place- I believe he wasn't telling me not to, he was leading me to the best outcome. I had no pain, no nausea. I am 3 mos out, down over 60 lbs sine pre op and couldn't be happier about it. I was very calm on surgery day- no fears.

I have been through a lot in one year but I still manage to stand strong. He was a kind of person with a strong and positive attitude. He was in the military so I learned a lot being a patient army wife. And I also feel like I want an answer from him letting me know if I should do it or not. But I know he will follow me thru.
