I went in today for my 30 day follow up & I'm down 30 lbs. My doc was very pleased with me since he's gone through all the struggles with with the lap-band for the last five years. So far I'm much happier with the sleeve.

Way to go! As a former band sufferer also I welcome you over from the "Dark Side" . You WILL meet goal using the sleeve, and it looks like you are well on your way!

good update...keep up the good work! I was only down post-op 1 month about 22 pounds...had stalled around 3 weeks...since then losing has been slow, but at 6 weeks post-op I am now about 30 pounds down...I don't have a follow-up visit with my surgeon until another 2 weeks, which will be 2 months out...I hope I can be at least 5 more pounds down by then, so my total loss at my upcoming visit will be 35 pounds...if I could somehow make it to 40 lbs down by then, I would be super happy

I lost 11 pounds on my pre op diet, and only 5 more since then -- and my surgery was June 3rd. REALLY frustrated and worried that I'm going to fail.

That is awesome !!! I hope I have results like that. That is what I lost total is 2 years with my Lapband plus I've gained that plus 10 back. Ugh. That is great for you though. Keep it up
