ElaineB 207 Posted June 22, 2013 I know what you mean. I'm happier than I've been in a long time. I don't have any illusions about this being a cake walk, but I've suffered being fat and there are so many simple pleasures that I look forward to. Like buying underwear:). And buying sexy lingerie. Someday buying clothes in a regular store... The list goes on and on. We all have so much to look forward to. I was just telling my boyfriend how blessed I feel. My insurance covers this life changing surgery. I can't wait to see what this next phase of my life brings.
Cmt7831 186 Posted June 22, 2013 Cmt' date=' my pre-op is similar. I get 2shakes a day and 1meat/veggie meal. That's for 2 weeks prior. I'm having some anxiety about it, but I will do what I have to do. You are a day ahead of me, so you are the guinea pig:). Lol. I'm glad for the support we can be for each other. I don't know about others, but I think my family gets worn out hearing about it:)[/quote'] I'm having anxiety about it also. I'm trying to prepare for it by swapping out some meals with the Protein shakes and I have been trying to be as positive as possible. I hear the first 3 days are the worst . ElaineB 207 Posted June 23, 2013 I've heard that too. I think I've decided to schedule a massage for day 2 or 3 as a non food reward. It will give me something to look forward to.

ElaineB 207 Posted June 23, 2013 Dee, welcome to the end of July sleevers club. I can't wait until august/september when we start talking about how much we have lost;). We will be the up and coming hotties on the losers bench. I've never wanted to be a loser so badly:) 1 Dee White reacted to this
