I'm on nexium now and it's better.
LIN140 15 Posted July 27, 2013 Hello there, I was so happy to have some food today, transitioning from liquids and shakes to purred. Had some tuna, mmm it was soo good. Maybe this can help break the stall.,......wishful thinking:) 1 Mayfly reacted to this

LIN140 15 Posted July 28, 2013 My scale moved a bit too, so happy. How are you all doing with your eating, and transitioning to soft foods?
missyjoy2078 381 Posted July 28, 2013 My scale moved a bit too' date=' so happy. How are you all doing with your eating, and transitioning to soft foods?[/quote'] I just ate thin slices turkey (2 pcs) and I'm fighting back barfing it up. Not fun!
lorrieann1 49 Posted July 28, 2013 Little movement on the scale finally today! Transition is going fairly well for me however today I was cutting up watermelon, which I love, and just absolutely forgot I just had surgery and started eating piece after piece while I continued to cut. About piece 4 it hit me and shortly after, the sleeve said "what have you done?" Followed by BARF! Let that be a lesson to me!
alene 74 Posted July 28, 2013 2 pounds down so that's good. Now that I'm getting more hungry I'm just eating what my boyfriend does, but I blend mine and make it pureed. Still trying to figure out how much to eat at a time without feeling stuffed. :-D
alene 74 Posted July 29, 2013 Oh also, before the sleeve I never had any cravings. And now I am really craving warm French bread with some yummy soft butter on it. I'm not going to give into my craving but I just find it very strange. Its not even like I used to eat french bread and butter. It was never high on my list for something I had to have, now maybe because I know I can't have it, I want it.
sguer56 12 Posted July 29, 2013 Ok folks... TMI time... Had my first hard lesson today. I graduated to softs today and it was so great! After 3 weeks of liquid I was in heaven tasting and chewing savory food, and a teeny amount was so satisfying! So after dinner, everyone in my family got milkshakes. So after many weeks of no sweets, I looked at everyone enjoying their shakes and thought, "hey, its soft." So I ate about 2 oz. Let me tell you all... DON'T try this! You will pay dearly! Won't go into details, but let me just say I'm so glad I was at home and close to a bathroom for the rest of the evening! This memory will definitely keep me away from sweets! 1 Mayfly reacted to this
